Main Alphabetical Listing of Name by Surname

This section contains an Alphabetical list of names, ordered by Surname.  

There is are no surnames beginning X or Z.

TO FIND A NAME Once on a page of names Press Ctrl F Keys together and the “find and replace ” text box will be presented on your screen. Type the surname into the “Find what” space and click “find next” to get to the name you are searching for.

THE NAME may appear more than once:

1. On a Memorial shown in BLUE is that of an outside cenotaph and there will be an obituary. Click on the blue caption to take you to the obituary.

2. On a Memorial shown in BLACK, a memorial generally inside a building. Click on the memorial to take you to the “200List” of War Memorials.. Within this list you will find details of the specific memorial from the main index.

Note: Full details of all the 200 Memorials are shown, along with photographs, in the Illustrated companion book to this data disc “The Last Post”.

3. A listing shown in RED is where the named soldier has a Commonwealth War Grave Headstone in a local cemetery. Clicking on the red name will take you to the list of names of those buried locally.. Using the Ctrl F function on that page takes you again to the name you are looking for and the appropriate cemetery.
